In September 2002 Jerez played host to the seven disciplines
that make up the WEG and the Royal School played an
important role in providing the Spanish Dressage Team
with two out of the four horses and riders being from
there and winning the historic silver medal for the
Team Event.
In the carriage driving discipline the royal School
finished off its preparation in clinics organised in
its own facilities and by attending national and intenational
competitions such as those in Portugal and Saumur.
The WEG Jerez 2002 demonstrated the supremacy of Central
Europe in this discipline with the representations from
the Royal School managing to classify amongst the fisrt
four places with the Spanish Team.
The Royal School also holds regular private exhibitions
according to the demand as a complimentary tourist activity
for meetings and congresses in which our area holds
an important place.
