This festival was given the prestigious title of Events of Andalusian Tourist Interest, reaching its climax with the Good Friday processions when twelve floats featuring the Twelve Stations of the Cross leave the Saint Mary the Crowned Parish Church.

The other special festivity is the Royal Fair in August should be visited when the town is teeming with people dressed in colourful flamenco dresses, riding thoroughbred horses, singing and dancing fandangos.
